#Pokemon Go for Apple Watch

The popular mobile game Pokemon Go is now available on the Apple Watch, squashing rumors that the game's maker was scrapping such plans.
The game involves catching digital pocket monsters in an augmented-reality version of your surroundings. The Apple Watch version will let you discover nearby Pokemon and collect special items, such as potions, from nearby PokeStops. But once you encounter a Pokemon, you will need to use your iPhone to catch it.
Still, the Apple Watch should make it easier for players to log their steps (needed to advance in the game and to hatch new Pokemon out of eggs), and to avoid walking around with their phones held out to search for nearby monsters.

Pokemon Go was a huge success when it came out in July. It's not clear how the Apple Watch version will do, especially now that it's too cold in much of the Northern Hemisphere to be outside catching Pokemon. Plans for the watch version had been announced at Apple's iPhone launch event in September.

#Microsoft along with Qualcomm planning to bring Windows 10 to next-gen Snapdragon processors

Microsoft and Qualcomm just announced at the WinHEC (Windows Hardware Engineering Community) event in Shenzhen, China that Windows 10 is coming to the next-generation of Snapdragon mobile processors, years after it failed to bring Windows to ARM chips in the form of Windows RT with Surface with Windows RT and Nokia Lumia 2520.
“Hardware partners will be able to build a range of new Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered Windows 10 PCs that run x86 Win32 and universal Windows apps, including Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and popular Windows games,” said Microsoft.
It also showed a preview of Windows 10 (Enterprise edition) running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor at the event.

Microsoft said that it is looking forward to seeing these new devices with integrated cellular connectivity and experiences like touch, pen and Windows Hello.
The first PCs running Windows 10 based on Snapdragon processors are expected to be available as early as next year.

#LeEco: Le Pro3 Review

LeEco is poised for impact on US shores with the launch of several products and upcoming services this Holiday season. Starting off with their lineup of 3 different sized 4K TVs with HDR technology at some pretty unbelievable prices, LeEco is even launching some seriously insane Black Friday pricing as well, giving away free phones in addition to steeply discounting their TVs and phones in an effort to gain some real traction here in the US. There’s no way like offering great products for a low price, and LeEco is attempting to pull the rug out from under the competition by offering the same powerful hardware as other OEMS at a considerably lower price.

Google discusses new features in Android 7.1:official video

Android 7.1, the seemingly more handsome sibling in the Nougat family, got released just a few weeks after Google unveiled Android 7.0. We don’t know why they did it that way, but it probably had to do with Android 7.1 being one of the showpiece features in the new Pixel smartphones. But now Google is ready to rain down Android 7.1 to the rest of the Android-using world, and so this video below shows us the new stuff we can expect.

First up, App Shortcuts. This is android’s answer to Apple’s “force touch” feature. Do a long press on an app icon and it will provide you with a contextual menu that shows actions you can choose from. Imagine long pressing on your text messaging app and a contextual menu appears and allows you to immediately start writing a text message for your most texted or favorite contacts. Long press on the Twitter app icon gives you a number of choices – compose a tweet immediately, check notifications, or DM your best friend.

More and more, rich media is being demanded on messaging devices – and you all know this by the ubiquity of emoji usage in smartphones and social media. But up to this point in time, we are only able to send and receive universally accepted unicode emoji, because keyboards and text editors only allow such emojis. A new feature called “Image Keyboard Support” will now allow users to bring rich media directly to any text editor on an app, if the app developers take advantage of this.

Lastly, Android 7.1 has an improved VR thread scheduling. In layman’s terms, Android 7.1 is simply better for resource-hungry VR apps. VR apps are able to lay claim to one whole process thread of the processor and mark it as a VR thread to minimize latency and give you better performance. These features and a whole lot more in Android 7.1 Developer Preview, which you can now get.

Video: Xiaomi Redmi Pro Review

Xiaomi’s Redmi Pro is the beginning of what’s likely to become a staple in Xiaomi’s yearly releases henceforth. Sitting somewhere in between the Redmi Note and Mi line of phones, the Redmi Pro’s base model features a MediaTek Helio X20 2.0GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and retails for around $224. For just $30 more ($254) you can get the upgraded model that comes with a faster MediaTek Helio X25 2.5GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The final price category of $299 keeps those upgraded specs and pushes the internal storage up to 128GB, giving you oodles of space to store your apps, games and especially pictures and video, not to mention the fact that all three models feature microSD card support for expandable storage.

This is #Pixel. The first phone #madebygoogle, inside and out.

Yesterday Google announced for the first time a family of products that brings people the best of Google through hardware and software made by Google. We're excited that the lineup features the first phone made by Google inside and out — Pixel.
For those of you who have followed Google closely, that name may sound familiar to you because we've used the Pixel name in the past for consumer hardware products that represented an overall premium Google experience. Many of you may also be familiar with the Nexus program. Since 2010, we’ve partnered closely with mobile handset partners around the world to bring you the best of Android. Through Nexus, the goal was to work with these various partners to push the boundaries of what’s possible with a smartphone. We’ve now decided to take the next step and provide our take on the best Google experience, by bringing hardware and software design together under one roof.

Pixel, Phone by Google

With Pixel, we obsessed over every detail, from the industrial design to the user experience. We carefully sculpted the surfaces of the phone, and rounded the edges to make it easy to grip. We used 2.5D Corning® Gorilla® Glass 4 on the front display and back glass to accent the aerospace grade aluminum body. The glass on the back also features Pixel Imprint, our fingerprint sensor, which is placed on the back of the phone where your finger expects it. You can even swipe it to access your notifications. And no matter what you’re using your phone for, you’ll need a battery that lasts all day and charges fast — up to seven hours in 15 minutes.

Meet your Google Assistant

Pixel is the first phone with the Google Assistant built in. With your Assistant, you can have a natural conversation with Google to find answers or get things done on the go.

The best smartphone camera. Ever.

The Pixel camera is not only the best smartphone camera we’ve ever made, it’s the highest rated smartphone camera anyone has ever made. Our DxOMark Mobile score of 89 is a great example of what’s possible when great hardware meets great software. Pixel puts cutting-edge computational photography in an ultra-fast and easy-to-use camera.

More to love

Pixel ships with the newest Android operating system, Android 7.1 Nougat. Phones will get software and security updates as soon as they’re available, directly from Google. We’ve also made the update process easier. When a new update is available, it can download and install in the background — no more waiting around for your phone to update.

Make it yours

Pixel comes in two sizes, 5” or 5.5”, and three colors: Very Silver, Quite Black and our limited edition for the U.S. only, Really Blue. And whatever you choose, we’ve got cases to match. In addition to customizing Live Cases with your favorite photos and places, we’re introducing a new Artworks collection that features exclusive designs from artists like Justin Maller, and photographers like Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield. We’re also excited to offer a new collection ofsilicone and clear cases.

SwiftKey's New "Neural Network" Text Prediction Is Impressively Good

SwiftKey announced its neural network keyboard back in October of last year, but it’s finally being released for everyone. Instead of looking at the last couple words in your text, SwiftKey now analyzes your entire sentence to guess what words you want to type next. It also suggests multiple words that usually belong together, such as “to be,” and can understand the context of what you’re typing. For example, if you type “Let’s go to the,” it can guess by the context that you might mean “beach.” The video above explains in more detail how the neural network approach helps make predictions better.
The keyboard’s predictions will learn over time, too. So the longer you use it, the better it should get. Personally, I’ve used Google’s stock keyboard by default for years, but after typing this whole article on it, I’m sorely tempted to switch. You can download the newest version of SwiftKey from the Google Play Store now.

Google made some cute advertisements for Duo, seriously they're adorable

There's been some commercials for the Nexus devices over the years, and recently some ads for Google Photos, but nothing much else. Google just uploaded a series of ads for Google Duo, their new video chat application, and they're absolutely adorable. Check them out:

There's a few others at Google's YouTube channel. I hope that Google will start to air these on TV soon, to help with its decreasing popularity on the Play Store.

Action Launcher 3’s Big September Update is Out, With Pixel Launcher Goodies Galore
