Snapchat is now rolling out support for custom Stories. With a custom Story, you can decide who can add to it and who can view it. You can also add a geofenced location to a Story if you’re using it for a party or something similar.
Custom Stories will disappear if no one adds to them in 24 hours.
Also rolling out today is a new Bitmoji feature. Specifically, your Bitmoji selfie will now appear inside your Snapcode.
Today we’re showcasing is a silver-dollar sized drone with full video recording capabilities. The Cheerson CX-10C launched as the World’s Smallest Camera Drone, and we’ve been hard pressed to find any that are smaller.

Qualcomm’s introduction of the two new processors indicates the company is serious about serving the mid-range segment.
The Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 630 were made official tonight, and the goal for them is to bring more high-end features to affordable devices. Both are part of the Snapdragon 600 series Qualcomm has positioned for mid-range phones and tablets. So you should expect to see the duo appear in consumer-ready hardware this summer while the Snapdragon 835 continues being the go-to for high-end devices until the final few months of the year. We’re officially seeing Qualcomm’s primary processors for 2017 now.
Primarily the most noticeable improvements for the pair are in connectivity, photography, and artificial intelligence. Qualcomm says performance, security, and battery life have also been boosted but that’s a given with any upgrade for processors.

Qualcomm already began distributing the Snapdragon 660, but hardware manufacturers shouldn’t expect to see the Snapdragon 630 in their hands until the end of the month. We should see the first devices using either one of these two processors launch as early as next month.

Samsung just launched its flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in India, as it had promised. These phones were announced last month and pack a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Quad HD+ infinity screen, both with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back. These also have Iris scanner on the front, on the back there is a fingerprint sensor as well as heart rate monitor. These are water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes with IP68 ratings.
These also have Bixby AI assistant with dedicated hardware button that promises more personalized experience to enhance the way people interact with their phones and the world around them, but the Voice feature will be available later. These phones also have Samsung Pay.

It took two years, several hyped rumors, but the revamp of Google Earth is finally here. The app, which had been stuck on version 8.0 since October 2014 with only incremental updates in the meantime, has jumped to version 9.0 with plenty of new things to check out. First are the 50 new Voyager guided tours which marry storytelling, science, and other info to showcase interesting perspectives of our planet. There are beautiful sites, historical locations, fun experiences, and educational content to raise awareness about some of the challenges facing our world as we know it. Second is the new 3D view that lets you experience the feeling of almost being at the location you're viewing, flying over and discovering every nook and cranny, whether it's a gorgeous landscape or a bustling city. Then there's more, like the new knowledge cards for places, the 20000 curated locations that you can randomly jump through with "I'm Feeling Lucky," the new postcard sharing capability that sends a link with the exact location and exact angle you were looking from, and the different home tours that let you discover traditional homes around the world. The new Google Earth will be accessible in Chrome through earth.google.com/web over the next few days (it's live for me already) and the 9.0 Android version should be live to everyone on the Play Store.
