Selfly-A #Selfie #Drone

Heads up, selfie-takers: A new device can help you elevate your self-portraits. Literally.AEE Aviation Technology's Selfly is a phone case with a built-in smart, autonomous flying selfie camera. Because the Selfly drone lives on your phone, it's with you at all times, ready to capture all your antics as long as it's charged.
When you're ready to take some selfies, just detach the Selfly drone from its home—your phone case. It takes off from the palm of your hand and hovers autonomously, kind of like an "invisible tripod."

"Its drone wings enable the device to fly itself at the user's command, delivering distant, tight angle or higher altitude photo selfies or videos," AEE Aviation Technology wrote in a press release. "As it hovers in the air, Selfly waits for commands from an intuitive, easy-to-use and free smartphone app to capture that perfect shot from above."
The tiny drone features "high-end stabilization technology" and is capable of capturing 13MP images as well as HD videos. It can detect faces and make them the focus of its shot, or shoot in panoramic mode for higher-altitude selfies and videos. If you're doing something active, it can follow your movements and capture the action.
When not in use, Selfly folds into a 9mm (3/8-inch) thick phone case. It's compatible with nearly all 4- to 6-inch iOS and Android smartphones, has a flight time of four minutes, and takes 30 minutes to recharge.
Selfly isn't the first selfie drone but it's the first one we know of that lives inside a phone case. On display at CES in Las Vegas this week, Selfly is expected to go on sale sometime this quarter for $130, which makes it quite a bit cheaper than the $599 Hover selfie drone we saw at CES last year. Hopefully it does better than the Lily.
